A FUNDAMENTAL DISCOVERY IN HAIR AND NAIL CARE
- The Ecrinal Range is based on A.N.P.®
- A.N.P.® is a natural substance rich in "TRICHOLIPIDS®"
- A.N.P.® acts on the dermal papilla by activating the production
of SH groups, indicative of active metabolism vital to the synthesis of
methionine and cysteine, the essential amino acid constituents of hair,
eyelashes, eyebrows, and nails.
- RESULT: STRONGER HAIR AND NAILS, FASTER GROWTH
- A.N.P.® is an exclusive and patented active ingredient in ECRINAL
preparations from Asepta.
DEFINITION
ANP® (horse mane extract) is an exclusive and internationally
patented ingredient used by Laboratoires Asepta in the Ecrinal Range for
hair and nail care. ANP® is an active natural ingredient rich in omega
3 fatty acids. It stimulates the production of keratin. Different pharmaceutical
forms of this active ingredient have been used in the Ecrinal Range to
allow the full benefits of its properties to be made use of in the nail
care range and the treatment of hair loss, hair maintenance and health
including eyelashes and eyebrows.
DISCOVERY OF HORSEMANE (ANP®)
In the majority of mammals, the hair bulb is located
in a layer of a very particular type of oily tissue. The permanent presence
of this oily mass suggests that it is necessary for hair growth.
These observations were made in animals with manes such as lions, giraffes,
horses, etc.
The discovery that this oily substance has a highly beneficial effect
on the phaneres (keratinised parts of the human body: nails, eyelashes
and hair) was made in a hospital.
The spectacular results obtained with nails led scientists to study this
new active substance very carefully.
A team of French hospital pharmacists, in collaboration with the ASEPTA
Laboratories, have developed a method for separating and purifying Horsemane
"Tricholipids" or "A.N.P. ® " (Natural Hair and
Nail Activator) exclusively used by the ASEPTA Laboratories in our ECRINAL
ANP® nail, eyelash and hair range.
ANP® ACTIVITY
Histochemical studies have shown that "Tricholipids®"
mobilise an active form of sulphur, the thiol or SH groups. This points
to an active growth and regeneration metabolic process, vital to active
biosynthesis of cysteine and methionine, the sulphurated amino acids which
are vital constituents of nails and hair.
Pharmacological studies have shown that certain specific enzyme activities,
such as phosphatase activity in tissue located at the base of hairs, increase
after treatment with Tricholipids.
Tricholipids penetrate very quickly which means faster tissue mobilisation
and stimulation of bulb activity leading to hair growth.
A.N.P. contains specific substances and a high concentration of essential
fatty acids including linoleic acid of the omega 3 family. Its intense
biodynamic stimulation of hair and nail growth has been confirmed by pharmacodynamic
studies and a clinical study.
