STUDY ONE

Study on the Anti-Hair-Loss Effect After a 2 Month Treatment and
On the Hair Re-Growth Effect After a 4 Month Treatment

Study conducted under dermatological supervision by:

  • Professor Jacques GUILAINE Head of Dermatology (Beaujon Hospital), expert with the Ministry of Health
  • Professor Bernard KALIS Head of Dermatology (Reims University Hospital Centre) Expert with the Ministry of Health

The effect of the product ECRINAL A.N.P. 40® VIALS was evaluated in 71 men and 22 women (total: 93 patients). It is important to note that the cause of hair loss in men and women can be very different. This means the benefits of the treatment in the two sexes can be understood better.

Number of applications:

  • first month: 3 to 5 ampoules per week
  • 3 following months: 1 to 2 ampoules per week

Of Ecrinal ANP40® After 8 Weeks of Treatment

  • Study conducted under dermatological supervision
  • Number of volunteers: 18 (men and women)
  • Inclusion criteria for volunteers: Proportion of hair in the telogenic phase equal to or greater than 15% for men and equal to or greater than 10% for women
  • Duration of the test: 2 Months
  • Number of applications: 1st month: 1 ampoule applied every 2 days, 2nd month: 1 ampoule applied every 3 days
  • Method of application: The content of one ampoule applied to the scalp, masaged in well, left for 30 minutes, and hair then washed with Ecrinal ANP Shampoo
  • Evaluation criteria

- Subjective evaluation of product efficacy
- Determination of pilar formula (pilar density, proportion of hair in the anagenic and telogenic phases) before and after 8 weeks of treatment using the videotrichogram method and analysis of results by Cont' hair® software.

    Parameters Assessed:
  • Capillary density: total number of hairs per square cm
  • Number of hairs in the anagenic phase (growth phase)
  • Number and proportion (%) of hairs in the telogenic phase (no growth

Results
Determination of Pilar Formula

A significant anti-hair loss and redensifying effect is observed by the vounteers themselves:

  • Anti-Hair Loss Effect: Decrease in the proportion (-3%*) and density of hair in
    the telogenic phase (-13%*)
  • Redensifying Effect: Increase in the density of hair in the anagenic phase (+7%**)
