EVALUATION OF THE ACTIVITY OF PURIPHYL SOLUTION
IN CASES OF ACNE / INTERTRIGO / FOLLICULITIS
  
  • The antibacterial and antifungal activity of a 2% CAPRYLYLCOLLAGENIC ACID, or PURIPHYL Solution was studied in 60 cases.
  • Various cases were treated: 30 cases of acne, 21 cases of intertrigo, 9 cases of folliculitis.
  • The product tested was judged on the basis of its effect on :
    INFLAMMATION, INFECTION, PRURITUS, HEALING.
  • The product was applied locally (generally twice a day) for treatment periods ranging from 8 to 30 days.
  • Patients were seen at least three times in the course of the treatment period.
